Everything here starts at around £2,000 a week — not as a badge, but because genuine luxury in Cornwall tends to come with room to breathe. These are statement homes, most sleeping eight, twelve, even twenty-two: the houses you take over when the whole family comes, or when the occasion deserves more than a cottage for two.
Expect sweeping sea views, grand kitchens built for long dinners, snugs with wood-burners, expansive gardens where children can explore, and a finish that makes everyone go quiet for a moment as they walk in. Many come with hot tubs, plenty with games rooms, and some even have their own swimming pools, and most importantly the space to host properly.
You’ll find them right across the county — with clusters around Saltash, Truro, Polperro and the north-coast surf towns of Bude, Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth — but the address matters far less than the house itself. Each one is here because it’s genuinely special, not because of where it sits on a map.
