Feock

Feock is a quiet, elegant waterside village near Falmouth, set between Restronguet Creek and the Carrick Roads. It is ideal for visitors who prefer calm water, countryside lanes and estuary views over busy resort beaches. The atmosphere is peaceful and tucked away, with easy access to both Truro and Falmouth.

The surrounding creeks are the real highlight. This is a lovely area for slow walks, birdwatching, sailing, kayaking and simply enjoying the changing tides. Nearby Loe Beach is a popular spot for watersports, with sheltered conditions that suit paddleboarding and kayaking better than surfing.

Food and drink options are more scattered than in Falmouth, but that is part of Feock’s appeal. The Punchbowl and Ladle is a traditional pub nearby, while the Pandora Inn at Restronguet is one of the area’s best-loved waterside stops, perfect for a drink or meal by the creek. For more choice, Falmouth and Truro are both within easy reach.

Walking is gentle and scenic here. Follow lanes and footpaths around Restronguet Creek, or head towards Devoran for peaceful estuary views and links to the mineral tramway trails. Trelissick Garden is also close by, offering woodland walks, river views and ferry connections on the Fal.

Feock is best enjoyed slowly: a creekside walk, a quiet drink by the water, a paddle from Loe Beach, then evening light over the Carrick Roads.
