West Cornwall

Known for its incredible light, artists have long fallen in love with the far west.  The air here is very clean, and the colour palette shifts to cool blue due to the magical interplay of reflections from the sea and the coast.  If you go to dazzling St Ives, or to the turquoise sea at Porthcurno, with its Minack Theatre cut into the cliffs, you will see exactly why artists are in thrall of this place.

With an area of red-serpentine marble caves at Kynance Cove, the raw, wild beauty of Lizard Point, and the thatch fishing village at Cadgwith Cove, you will understand why this part of Cornwall simply has to be seen.
