Given its unique location, Edge O’ Cliff is only reached by foot, however there is a reserved parking space just a five-minute walk away.  Make your way down the garden path, and you’ll be reach this little slice of paradise with unrivalled views, framed by luscious greenery and indigenous plants. Situated right on the prestigious South West Coast Path, if the tide’s right follow the steps down from the house and Porthkidney’s expansive golden beach awaits, or follow the coast path and within minutes you’re on Carbis Bay’s glistening sands – it’s a truly spectacular stretch of coastline.

Inside, the views continue to indulge. Every angle has been considered, celebrating the breathtaking views beyond. The colour palette is fresh, coastal, and calming, enjoy being surrounded by soft washed woods, earthy slate, and gentle pops of colours. The open-plan living space is a beautiful blend of home comforts and luxury touches. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, complete with breakfast bar area. Expect premium appliances such as the Neff electric ovens and combi microwave, plus large induction hob and Liebherr fridge freezer. For convenience there’s also a dishwasher, washer and dryer. Soak up the views as you enjoy a Cornish-inspired feast, there’s a large dining table complete with four chairs and chunky wooden bench positioned next to the large picture window.

The adjacent relaxed lounge area comes complete with velvet sofa, two low back armchairs, and a contemporary wood-burning fire for chillier nights, but let’s not forget the spoiling sea views with floor-to-ceiling windows. If you tire of the views, check out the pull-out table tennis table, and battle it out with your fellow guests. There’s a separate lounge to kick back with their favourite shows. Boasting two large sofas, this additional space features s mounted smart TV with built-in cinema surround sound, there’s access to EE TV player for all major streaming apps, plus a Sonos audio speaker to set the holiday playlist. One of the sofas is a sofa bed, to provide extra sleeping space if required. There’s also a modern shower room on this floor, to rinse off days well spent at the beach.

Upstairs you’ll find the two main bedrooms. The master bedroom enjoys incredible views looking out over Porthkidney beach through the picture window. There’s a lavish king size bed, a relaxed sofa, plus plenty of built-in storage. The second bedroom situated at the rear of the house also features a king size bed and large freestanding wardrobe, but there’s bunk beds and a pull-out trundle bed if required for children only. Conveniently situated between the two bedrooms is the contemporary family bathroom, which boasts a large bath with shower over, WC, sink and heated towel rail. A highlight for this section of the house has to be the large terrace space, which is kitted out with Lafuma deck chairs and some loungers to enjoy the Cornish sun.

Outside, not only do guests have direct beach access, there’s a secluded barrel sauna to rejuvenate the body and mind, a heated outdoor shower, and a secure garden complete with veranda and plenty of seating. Embrace flora and fauna with the lush, coastal garden, bursting with colour and texture. And if you enjoy dining alfresco, why not fire up the BBQ for some casual dining overlooking the sea.
