Sleeping six, this three-bedroomed house in an elevated location is completely traffic-free, so it is a perfect space to retreat in complete privacy but also incredible comfort. Inside this impeccable accommodation, with its wrap-around gardens, is a luxuriously romantic master mezzanine bedroom with free-standing bath and glorious views. The harbour at Portreath is only 850 yards away but be aware, it is an uphill wander back. Beautiful views look out towards the iconic Gull Rock, with mesmerising sunsets to make your day complete. Or why not view it from the hot tub with a glass of fizz?
The beach at Portreath is dog-friendly, family-friendly and a winning combination of sand/shingle. It is also a renowned surf spot, with a beach cafe and restaurant nearby. The village has three pubs, charming cafes and essential small shops all with easy reach.
You need your walking legs for this property which is accessed up a steep path with no car access but you will most definitely enjoy fabulous views. Please note you cannot park at the property, or unload, therefore all luggage is dropped on foot, however there is on-street parking nearby.

High-quality bed linen and towels are provided at all Pure Cornwall properties. Where a cot is supplied, guests are kindly asked to bring their own cot bedding.

Please Note
- Please note that Harbour Heights is accessed via a steep path with no car access; you cannot park at the property, or unload, therefore all luggage is dropped on foot, however there is on-street parking nearby.
- The hot tub is thoroughly cleaned and refilled after each stay to ensure it’s perfectly fresh for new guests. As hot tub maintenance takes place during changeover prior to guest arrival, it may take a few hours to reach the ideal temperature, so it might not be ready to use straight away.

Portreath is a classic north-coast village with a proper “salt-in-the-air” feel—part harbour, part beach town, and all about easy days outdoors. The bay is framed by cliffs and backed by sand at low tide, making it a great spot for everything from early-morning dog walks to long afternoons of paddling, bodyboarding and watching the waves roll in. Surfers love it here, but you don’t need to be in a wetsuit to enjoy the atmosphere; it’s just as good for sitting on the sea wall with a coffee, scanning the horizon and letting the pace slow right down.
One of the joys of Portreath is how much you can do on foot. The coastal path is right there, with rewarding cliff-top routes in both directions—perfect for stretching your legs, spotting seabirds and discovering little coves and quieter corners along the way. For a change of scenery, it’s easy to beach-hop to nearby favourites like Porthtowan and Chapel Porth, or seek out a more tucked-away spot such as Bassetts Cove when the tide and conditions are right. If you’re travelling with children, the beach is ideal for rockpool missions and sandcastle sessions, and there are plenty of places nearby to pick up beach essentials or a well-earned ice cream.
Eating out is a big part of a Portreath stay, and you’re spoilt for choice. The standout recommendation is The Basset Arms, a stylish pub that’s perfect for a relaxed lunch, a cosy dinner, or a post-walk pint. Expect a warm welcome, good local produce and a comfortable setting that works just as well for families as it does for couples. For something more casual, The Pod is great for coffee, cake and light bites – handy for a quick refuel between beach time and exploring.
If you’re keen to mix coast with countryside, nearby woodland walks offer a greener contrast to the cliffs and surf, and there are options for cycling too, with bike hire available locally for pedalling along scenic routes.
Portreath also sits within easy reach of Cornwall’s bigger-hitting days out – whether that’s gardens, galleries, family attractions or landmark coastal spots – so you can keep things as chilled or as adventure-filled as you like.
