A somewhat unique position, Crantock is bounded to the north by the River Gannel, its tidal river flowing across the northern edge of Crantock beach to join the Atlantic Ocean, with its pristine expanse of sand, while the bordering sand dunes and high cliffs provide shelter from the wind.

Langurra Meadow End is less than a ten-minute walk from the delights of Crantock Beach, located on the sought after and peaceful Green Lane. Sleeping eight, this large holiday home is full of appeal from the stunning sea views, generous balconies and substantial gardens.

Embracing a neutral palette with a Scandinavian-inspired interior, pairing laidback luxury with home comforts, Langurra Meadow End has been finished to a high standard. Downstairs is spacious and airy; the living area is a tranquil modern space with bi-fold doors which open out to the stunning sea view terrace enveloped by luscious fields of green. The newly-fitted kitchen is a brilliant space to cook up a Cornish-inspired feast. Well-equipped its complete with large island and bar stools, there’s an integrated dishwasher, fridge freezer and two ovens, as well as an electric hob. Coffee lovers will appreciate the retro-style SMEG coffee machine, plus there’s a Dualit kettle and four-slice toaster.

Guests have the choice of two dining spaces, adjoining the kitchen there’s a relaxed dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows or enjoy the elegant dining room with its chunky wooden table and eight plush high-back dining chairs. Downstairs you’ll also find the first of four bedrooms; a gorgeous king size room with modern ensuite complete with double walk-in shower. The large family bathroom is also situated on this level, where guests will enjoy the luxurious double-ended bathtub plus large walk-in shower, perfect for washing away a day at the beach.

Upstairs you’ll find three well-appointed bedrooms. Most notably is the king-size bedroom with stunning glass-fronted sea view terrace. The further king room features its own ensuite, while the fourth bedroom is a generously sized twin.

The outside is equally inviting, guests can kick back on the sun loungers or gravity chairs in the large enclosed garden with a myriad of bordered foliage. And the sizzling brick-built BBQ means guests are well catered for al-fresco dining under the Cornish sun. There’s also space to park up to three cars in the private gated driveway.

Langurra Meadow End is a fabulous family home, a short stroll from the soft golden sands of National Trust owned Crantock Beach, which is brilliant for everything from sandcastles to surfing, but also rewards you with breath-taking coastal walks moments from your front door. The village boasts two much-loved traditional pubs too, while award-winning Cornish hotspot Newquay is a ten-minute drive away.
