Springfield Villa is a three bedroomed semi detached beach house, located less than a minute’s stroll from the sands of Porthminster Beach and St Ives.
Roll out of bed, wander downstairs for a hearty breakfast, grab the swimming gear and head to the beach or just pop into town for a leisurely stroll. If you want St Ives on your doorstep, this is for you.
Overlooking Porthminster Beach, Springfield Villa is an ideally located home for surfing, family beach holidays and exploring the famous cobbled streets of St Ives where you can enjoy the picturesque harbour & beaches and a wide-ranging choice of galleries, shops and restaurants.
Springfield Villa sleeps up to 6 guests, has a three floor lay out, with superb sea views, a beautiful tropical garden and that vital parking available for two cars.
The ground floor has a fully equipped, modern kitchen with under floor heating; a spacious open-plan living room with log burner and a generous dining area, seating six.
The middle level contains the master bedroom which has a 6ft super king bed and lovely sea views out of the sashed windows. The second bedroom is a twin room overlooking the rear garden. On this floor there is a sizeable family bathroom.
The top floor attic room provides a comfortable king bedroom with exposed wooden beams and a breathtaking view of St Ives Harbour and Godrevy Lighthouse from the Velux window.
The back garden area has a very useful out building ideal for storing surfing and beach equipment. There is also an outside tap and hosepipe which is perfect for rinsing your wetsuits and beach things.
This ideal beach villa has a very light, airy feel throughout; perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea views or checking the surf anytime of the day from the comfort of your seaside retreat.

Facilities
High-quality bed linen and towels are provided at all Pure Cornwall properties. Where a cot is supplied, guests are kindly asked to bring their own cot bedding.
Downstairs
- Open-plan kitchen/diner/living space with two sofas, armchair, log burner, window seats and Smart TV.
- Kitchen featuring AEG electric oven, gas hob, integrated microwave, dishwasher, fridge and Belfast sink. There’s a wooden table with 6 seats.
- In the basement there is a shower, wash basin & toilet.
- Additional space with washing machine and table football.
Upstairs
- Bedroom one is a super king bed with a wardrobe, DAB radio and sea views.
- Bedroom two features twin beds, with a chest of drawers and a shelved cupboard.
- Family bathroom with a bath and shower over, toilet and wash basin.
- Bedroom three is on the top floor and features a king bed a built-in wardrobe, and sea views from the velux window.
Outside
- Private parking available for 2 cars at the front of the house.
- Beautiful secluded tropical garden with garden furniture.
- Outbuilding with freezer and tumble dryer are in the outside shed.
- Please beware of the steep stone steps in the second level of the garden and the culvert at the front of the property; the approach to Springfield Villa is on a steep and narrow lane.

Activities
St Ives is located in West Cornwall. There is plenty to do in St Ives and it is a fantastic location if you plan on exploring a little further afield too.
For beach lovers, there are plenty to choose from… Porthmeor Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Godrevy, Porthkidney Beach or Carbis Bay to name but a few. Families and couples will enjoy relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. St Ives Surf School offers sessions for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering. All great fun! If you prefer to stay a little drier though, St Ives Boat Trips run sea-life safaris to see the local dolphins and seals!
One of St Ives most well-known attractions is the Tate St Ives, which is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and is a haven for lovers of modern art. Artists praise St Ives for its beautiful light and it has inspired many pieces.
The cobbled streets of St Ives are home to many shops, galleries and cafes and most businesses are small independents or artisans. Check out Cornwall Soapbox for handmade soaps and aromatherapy products made in Cornwall!
When visiting St Ives, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Porthminster Kitchen regularly receives great reviews and has a strong focus on fresh local food or head to Blas Burgerworks for a tasty handcrafted burger using ingredients sourced from the area.
St Ives sits at the bottom of the A30, so if you are looking to explore more of the Cornwall coast, then this is a great base and you can book ferries for day trips to the Scilly Isles from Penzance (only a 20 minute drive away).
