Tresillian is a stunning three-storey holiday home, situated on one of St Ives’ most desirable roads, just a two-minute walk from award-winning Porthmeor Beach. Thanks to the property’s sought-after location, guests can wake up to the sound of the sea and watch the sun set after a day discovering the very best of St Ives.
Sleeping 12 across six bedrooms, this boutique style holiday home beautifully blends luxury with home comforts in a generously sized setting. Finished to a high standard expect spoiling sea views, lavish touches such as king size beds and a freestanding bath, plus an immaculate tiered garden at the rear.
Guests will appreciate the gorgeous natural light, which St Ives is famed for, and beautifully floods the front of the house as they enter on the ground floor. The open-plan space is the hub of the home, with a fabulous kitchen, dining area and living room. Cooking comes with a sea view here; budding chefs will welcome the premium appliances including NEFF double oven, five-ring gas hob and wine cooler.
There’s a large wooden dining table, which comfortably seats 12, where families can enjoy a Cornish-inspired feast together. Head to the living area, with its box bay window with cushioned seating. It’s a peaceful spot to watch the sun set over Porthmeor Beach, one of St Ives’ most praised sunset spots. There’s also a sumptuous sofa, a contemporary inset woodburning fire, and a selection of books and board games to be enjoyed, plus a Bose speaker to set the scene. If it’s a film night you’re after, the additional snug space with wall-mounted Sony smartTV has you covered, there’s plenty of plush seating and an X-Box for those who fancy a spot of gaming.
Travel up to the first floor and you’ll find four well-proportioned bedrooms. Following a calm, neutral palette guests can expect luxury linens and hotel-quality beds. There’s a king size sea view room, complete with its own ensuite, a further king size, a twin, and a bedroom with bunk beds. The modern family bathroom is also on this level, featuring a bath and standalone shower.
Heading up to the top floor, you’ll find the master bedroom and a further twin room, playfully designed with children in mind. The master boasts a lavish superking bed, a luxurious double-ended bath tub with shower attachment, and a private glass-fronted balcony with Moroccan style tiling, where you can soak up views of Porthmeor Beach and The Island with the historic St Nicholas Chapel. There’s an ensuite with large walk-in shower, a double fitted wardrobe, a smartTV and Bose speaker.
The outside space is another property highlight. Downstairs there are two sets of bi-folding doors, providing access from the dining area and snug. The tiered garden is impeccably presented; little ones will love channelling their inner pirate aboard the wooden play boat, while the adults enjoy the sumptuous outside sofa, or fire pit. There’s also a Weber charcoal BBQ for those who like to cook under the Cornish sun, plus an outdoor dining set seating 12. The summer house is a sweet addition, and you’ll find table football and a play kitchen to enjoy.
For those seeking a surfing retreat, Tresillian has you covered. There’s a convenient heated outdoor shower to wash away a day spent at the beach, plus rails to hang your wetsuit and wet swimming paraphernelia, plus handy surfboard storage. You’ll also find two parking spaces at the front of the property, a real luxury in the heart of St Ives.

Facilities
High-quality bed linen and towels are provided at all Pure Cornwall properties. Where a cot is supplied, guests are kindly asked to bring their own cot bedding.
Downstairs
- Contemporary kitchen with stunning sea views, it features high-end appliances including two integrated NEFF ovens, five-ring NEFF gas hob, built-in dishwasher, microwave, Samsung American fridge/freezer, Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle and toaster, wine cooler and a pull-out larder cupboard.
- Utility room with Hoover washing machine and Hoover tumble dryer, John Lewis microwave and Tommee Tippee bottle steriliser.

- A long wooden dining table, comfortably seating 12, with direct garden access via bifold door.
- In the living area enjoy sea views from the large grey sofa, window seat, armchair and cuddle chair. There’s also an inset woodburning stove, a selection of books and board games.
- The snug has a large corner sofa, comfy beanbags, a Sony smartTV, X-box, and dvd player, there’s bifolding doors, leading to the decking.
Upstairs
- Bedroom 3 is on the first floor, it features a king size bed, sea views, large window seat, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and a smartTV. There’s an ensuite shower room with WC and heated towel rail.
- Bedroom 4 is on the first floor, it features a king size bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and a smartTV.
- Bedroom 5 is on the first floor, it’s a twin room with a chest of drawers, hanging space and a smartTV.
- Bedroom 6 is on the first floor, it has bunk beds and has a sea view. There’s a chest of drawers and a smartTV.
- The family bathroom is on the first floor, it features a freestanding bath and separate walk-in shower, WC and a heated towel rail.
- The master bedroom (bedroom 1) is on the top floor, with a superking bed, freestanding double ended bath, a glass-fronted balcony with sea views, and ensuite shower room. There are built-in wardrobes, two armchairs, a wall-mounted smartTV and a Bose speaker.
- Bedroom 2 is on the top floor and is designed for children, featuring two single beds, and plenty of storage.
Outside
- Rear tiered garden featuring a wooden pirate ship, charcoal Weber BBQ with outdoor dining set. There is a heated outdoor shower, wetsuit hanging space and surfboard storage, a fire pit, outdoor sofa and a summer house with table football and a toy kitchen.

Activities
St Ives is located in West Cornwall. There is plenty to do in St Ives and it is a fantastic location if you plan on exploring a little further afield too.
For beach lovers, there are plenty to choose from… Porthmeor Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Godrevy, Porthkidney Beach or Carbis Bay to name but a few. Families and couples will enjoy relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. St Ives Surf School offers sessions for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering. All great fun! If you prefer to stay a little drier though, St Ives Boat Trips run sea-life safaris to see the local dolphins and seals!
One of St Ives most well-known attractions is the Tate St Ives, which is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and is a haven for lovers of modern art. Artists praise St Ives for its beautiful light and it has inspired many pieces.
The cobbled streets of St Ives are home to many shops, galleries and cafes and most businesses are small independents or artisans. Check out Cornwall Soapbox for handmade soaps and aromatherapy products made in Cornwall!
When visiting St Ives, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Porthminster Kitchen regularly receives great reviews and has a strong focus on fresh local food or head to Blas Burgerworks for a tasty handcrafted burger using ingredients sourced from the area.
St Ives sits at the bottom of the A30, so if you are looking to explore more of the Cornwall coast, then this is a great base and you can book ferries for day trips to the Scilly Isles from Penzance (only a 20 minute drive away).
